Who says knitwear is just for winter? The Checkerboard Lace Scarf is the perfect lightweight accessory for summer in the southland. The easy-to-learn lace pattern creates a light and breezy fabric that is cool and comfy in a cotton or linen blend like Azalea, Revive, or Zooey. Or go silky smooth with Asia, Aspen, or Merino Silk Fine. So many ways to add a splash of color to your look! This versatile pattern is infinitely adjustable, from scarf to shawl, and works with any weight yarn. So think ahead for colder months and climates–maybe even get a start on your holiday knitting. Once you get the hang of the pattern, you’ll definitely want to make more!
