Join Wendy on either Tuesdays, December 2 & 9, 10am-12pm. $55 plus materials. How innovative is this little reversible hat, first designed as a gift for a baby shower where the baby’s gender was unknown? This ingenious design begins with a provisional cast on (we promise we’ll make it easy for you!), after which you knit the first style hat. The second style is then knit from that cast-on in the other direction. You can choose to make it boy/girl as in the picture and store sample, or simply make a reversible hat for a favorite little boy or girl in your life …. the side that is not being worn is tucked inside the outer style for extra warmth and versatility. Color options unlimited! You will learn a provisional cast-on, some color work, the duplicate stitch, as well as how to craft a simple child’s hat. There is very little finishing needed on the hat as the wrong sides are never seen so no issues with messy woven-in ends or long floats that will catch when putting things on.
