Double Weave Shawl – Intermediate/Advanced Weaving

When:
November 15, 2016 @ 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm

Join Kara on Tuesdays, November 15 and 22 from 2 – 6 pm. $95 plus materials.

Have you ever wanted to weave wider than your 20” loom will allow? Well now you can! Using a second heddle, you can weave twice the width of your warp. Learn the double weave technique for the rigid heddle loom while making a beautiful winter wrap. This is a fun and easy introduction to double weave and opens the door to more intricate pattern possibilities. You will need the second heddle attachment to your loom and a second reed (we have both for sale). Store sample is in Lang Yak, a luxurious yak/wool blend–perfect for a chilly night. Other beautiful choices include Jade Sapphire 8-Ply Cashmere, Red Barn Llama Sparkle, and Rowan Lima. Limited class size, so please sign up early.
