Thinking of diving into lace? Here is a great class for you to get your feet wet. Falling Water is a beautiful lace pattern that looks cabled but isn’t! With just an 8-row repeat, it is easy to learn while still keeping you interested. In this class, you will learn to read and work a lace chart, incorporating a variety increases and decreases. You will also gain the invaluable skills of inserting a lifeline and ripping back in case of mistakes. You can make it scarf width, or add more repeats for a wider wrap. For the ultimate in soft, there’s nothing like cashmere. Gabriella’s sample is in Jade Sapphire 4-ply, and our newest Cardiff DK weight chainette would be a dream. Baah Aspen and Blue Sky Alpaca Silk will give more drape; SweetGeorgia Trinity Worsted or Lang Yak will provide more warmth.
