A beautiful project to have just in time for Father’s Day. This slip stitch scarf is masculine and streamlined, perfect for those chilly days coming up in fall. And who doesn’t want to receive (and to give!) a hand-knit gift? You will learn an easy two-color rib to accent the bottom and top edges of the scarf. The body is also two-color, worked in a simple and speedy slip stitch pattern. This scarf can be done in any weight and yarn you love; our favorites are Blue SkyWorsted Hand Dyes wool/alpaca blend and the gorgeous colors of Jade Sapphire 8-Ply Cashmere–both have great stitch definition on this rewarding knit. Of course, you can always use any of our fine merinos, or the new Herriot Great alpaca if you prefer!

Advance preparation may be required, depending on the class topic. Details will be provided at least one week in advance or upon sign-up. Each weekly class session includes two hours of hands-on instruction, or more if needed and our time allows (it almost always does!). Yarn for our classes must come from Compatto Yarn Salon, and we are always happy to help you choose the best yarn for your class or project. Classes must have at least three participants in order to run. If you have questions about this or any other class, please give us a call at 310-453-2130.
