Strawberries are everywhere at the farmers markets these days, a delicious sign of summer coming. But when you want a non-sticky alternative that can go outside of the kitchen, this is the berry for you! Whether decorating a nursery, playroom, or dorm room, this bright accent is welcome anywhere. You’ll work in the round from bottom to top, ending with a little bit of stranded color work and embroidered “seeds.” The store sample is made in Blue Sky Worsted Cotton. Other great choices include Tundra, Cascade 128, Blue Sky Worsted Hand Dyes, and Cashmerino Aran.
Advance preparation may be required, depending on the class topic. Details will be provided at least one week in advance or upon sign-up. Each weekly class session includes two hours of hands-on instruction, or more if needed and our time allows (it almost always does!). Yarn for our classes must come from Compatto Yarn Salon, and we are always happy to help you choose the best yarn for your class or project. Classes must have at least three participants in order to run. If you have questions about this or any other class, please give us a call at 310-453-2130.
