Gossamer Lace Scarf

Join Wendy on Fridays, June 20 & 27 from 10am-12pm. $55 plus materials.

Offered once again by popular demand! When a heavy scarf just won’t do, grab this gossamer-weight lace scarf instead! A lace-weight yarn knit on size 9 needles creates a supremely soft scarf, ideal for warmer weather decoration, or a bit of coziness on cooler days. A fun-to-work open lace panel with gentle peaks along one long edge is contrasted with a bit of garter stitch for lots of textural interest. This scarf is very light, yet has enough body to allow itself to be draped in many pretty ways, and will always add a bit of femininity to your outfit. This scarf would work beautifully in Mimi Mink, Jade Sapphire 4-ply cashmere (our absolute fave), gorgeous SweetGeorgia Sock, or, for the brave of heart, Rowan Kidsilk Haze.

Advance preparation may be required, depending on the class topic. Details will be provided at least one week in advance or upon sign-up. Each weekly class session includes two hours of hands-on instruction, or more if needed and our time allows (it almost always does!). Yarn for our classes must come from Compatto Yarn Salon, and we are always happy to help you choose the best yarn for your class or project. Classes must have at least three participants in order to run. If you have questions about this or any other class, please give us a call at 310-453-2130.
