Log Cabin Scarf – Intermediate Weaving

February 8, 2016 @ 5:35 pm – 6:35 pm

Join Kara on Tuesday, March 1 from 2:30 – 7:30 pm. $85 plus materials.

Discover how color and weave interact to create this stunning pattern. Deceptively easy to make, this would be great for your second or third weaving project. You may bring your own rigid heddle loom or use one of ours. Come see the samples in Rowan Lima and SweetGeorgia Trinity Worsted. Other great choices are Lang Yak, Jade Sapphire 8-ply Cashmere, and Zara Merino. It can also be modified to use a thinner yarn on a denser reed.

Advance preparation may be required depending on the class topic. Details will be provided one week in advance or upon sign-up. Each weekly class session includes two hours of hands-on instruction, and extra help outside of class if needed and our time allows (it almost always does!). Yarn for classes must come from Compatto Yarn Salon, and we are always happy to help you choose the best yarn for your class or project. If you have questions about this or any other class, please give us a call at 310-453-2130.
