Seawall Scarf

When:
October 14, 2014 @ 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm

Join Mary Beth on Tuesdays, October 14, 21 & 28 from 3-5pm. $75 plus materials.

Back by popular demand! The colors in this delightful scarf will brighten up any foggy morning. And the best part is that there are almost no ends to weave in! The color blocks and stripes are each made with techniques that either weave in as you go or carry the unused colors up the side. Fear stripes no more! You’ll also learn to pick up stitches along an edge and execute a three-needle bind-off. You have all the colors of Blue Sky Sport & Melange to choose from, or the beautiful hand-dyed colors of Jade Sapphire 4-ply cashmere. You’ll even have enough of your contrast colors left to make a coordinating hat or mitts!

Advance preparation may be required, depending on the class topic. Details will be provided at least one week in advance or upon sign-up. Each weekly class session includes two hours of hands-on instruction, or more if needed and our time allows (it almost always does!). Yarn for our classes must come from Compatto Yarn Salon, and we are always happy to help you choose the best yarn for your class or project. Classes must have at least three participants in order to run. If you have questions about this or any other class, please give us a call at 310-453-2130.
