Wisp Scarf

April 13, 2015 @ 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm

Join Gabriella on Mondays, April 13 & 20 from 4-5:45pm. $55 plus materials.

The Wisp Scarf is perfect for our California weather–or wherever you go! Stick it in your luggage when you travel; it won’t take up any space or weigh you down, but will be handy to keep you warm if the need arises. It may look intricate, but it’s actually a basic garter stitch alternating with an easy-to-learn lace pattern. It’s also one of the most popular patterns on Ravelry! Our sample is made with Rowan KidSilk Haze, but there are many options available for you to choose from such as Blue Sky Metalico, Mimi Mink and Juniper Moon Zooey. If you’d prefer something warmer, just pick a thicker yarn like Llama Sparkle or Frog Tree Llambrosia.

Advance preparation may be required, depending on the class topic. Details will be provided at least one week in advance or upon sign-up. Each weekly class session includes two hours of hands-on instruction, or more if needed and our time allows (it almost always does!). Yarn for our classes must come from Compatto Yarn Salon, and we are always happy to help you choose the best yarn for your class or project. Classes must have at least three participants in order to run. If you have questions about this or any other class, please give us a call at 310-453-2130.
