Build on your weaving repertoire with this classic two color check design. Using pattern sticks to create warp and weft floats (where the yarn is floating over or under several threads), this design is a variation of a weave structure commonly called Bronson. As is always the case with weaving, it can easily be made into a scarf simply by choosing different yarns and a loose weave sett. Limited class size, so please sign up early.Use your own rigid heddle loom or call and register early to secure the use of one of ours.
Advance preparation may be required depending on the class topic. Details will be provided one week in advance or upon sign-up. Each weekly class session includes two hours of hands-on instruction, and extra help outside of class if needed and our time allows (it almost always does!). Yarn for classes must come from Compatto Yarn Salon, and we are always happy to help you choose the best yarn for your class or project. If you have questions about this or any other class, please give us a call at 310-453-2130.
