Knit this striking cowl or scarf in two solid colors or use a variegated yarn with a solid yarn to create a stained glass effect. The paintbox pattern is a fun slip stitch that is knit flat, on the bias, then is grafted together to create a stunning cowl. Or cast on and do a couple of rows in garter stitch to create a beautiful contrast trim on a scarf. In this class you will learn the provisional cast on, the paintbox pattern and the kitchener stitch to finish up without a seam. Advance preparation may be required depending on the class topic. Details will be provided one week in advance or upon sign-up. Each weekly class session includes two hours of hands-on instruction, and extra help outside of class if needed and our time allows (it almost always does!). Yarn for classes must come from Compatto Yarn Salon, and we are always happy to help you choose the best yarn for your class or project.
